I'd like to say that I came to the decision with ease and clarity. I'd like to say that I didn't question my judgement on several occasions. I'd like to say that I dealt with the 'which shoes?' dilemma like a man.

I can't.

But brown shoes have prevailed. (I threw in the pink socks because I can!)
