Elojazz 2010

For the 22nd time (if I remember correctly) Elojazz festival was arranged at Oulu's old marketplace called Aittatori. It is nice surroundings for a jazz festival, the old market place sheds close up the area and the mood is relaxed and kind of intimate as there are not so huge number of artists nor people taking part to the event.

I guess this was the first time Mrs.Mrok also participated to the event ans I guess she liked it very much. Met some friends and listened good music. What else is there for a saturday evening, when the offspring is visiting grandma ;)

Timo Lassy Band was the main artist for the evening and must say his crew really know how to perform live. Some bands just come and play, but these guys really gave the audience something that was worth of the wait and a little rain. Oh yes, did I mention that it was raining? Not much but anyway. However that didn't spoil the event atleast in my books, as the wonderfully thick and groovy saxophone sound of Lassy really was there. Oh boy.
