The pine trees have been chopped down in readiness

There's a whole section of lane at the back of us, which runs through the wood and around an area of olive trees, that hasn't been widened yet. The pine trees have been chopped down in readiness, but the wood is still piled at the side of the lane waiting for the wood lorry to take it away. We're assuming that as soon as this happens the diggers will move in to finish off.

As to how long it's going to take them to complete the road, we're guessing that it will take another two months maybe. Then worse will be to come... hundreds of loads of concrete will be passing along the road to fill the massive holes in the ground to form the foundations of the wind turbines.
