Geese

I have been meaning to take a detour to the canal near one of the local supermarkets for a while.

Finally got round to it today and expected to get a nice landscape, with water and maybe a bridge - perhaps a duck or two. Imagine my surprise when I caught sight of a dozen or so geese enjoying the afternoon sun by the water!

A narrow boat was moored nearby, windows blacked out. As luck would have it, another one came by steered by a stereotypical bearded man in a hat and with two little dogs, one running about on the roof!

I didn't think to count the geese when I was there, but counting on the various photos I took, I think there were about sixteen.
