On the way home

Got up early and after tidying up after ourselves left Annie's peaceful home in Ieper. Having omitted to obtain a street map of Lille I had to find the car hire office using my internal sat nav, which can be quirky at times but is usually reliable. So we had an interesting drive through Lille but got there eventually and had time to spare at Lille Europe. Then the smooth section to St Pancras followed by the traditional British overcrowded train from Kings Cross back to Edinburgh.
