West Side View--2

Our second day in our reclaimed 11th floor apartment in New York City. (For a fuller story, see here). With talks with contractors, visitors, and my sore hip I didn't get out much. So I've blipped this second view, looking the other direction on West 97th Street--a bit south of west toward the corner of Columbus Avenue.

For anyone who might wonder, the yellow vehicles are NY taxicabs. The one facing south at the curb has its hood up (its bonnet in British--Google to the rescue!)--has it broken down?? Not much as a blip drama, but what can I do?
