and focus instead

Lanterns are hanging above store entrances, standing on the steps of building entrances, are strung up over the streets.

This lantern hangs above a shop right before the entrance to Kheyameya, against a backdrop of a Mosque that probably dates to around the 11th century.

It is gold plastic, with splashes of every bright colour under the sun, and Arabic calligraphy painted in bold strokes. Maybe it has a small bulb that light ups, or mechanical music that plays, a Middle Eastern music box of sorts. And it's probably made in China.

I decided to leave out the mosque from the picture and focus instead on this little, minuscule lamp, hanging from a piece of wood jutting out of the wall.

Edit: Changed the processing and re-uploaded it. I wasn't happy with how overpowering the gold was so I used a blue texture instead

Lots of work this morning and catching up with comments later.
