Kariega the final day...

Today was our final day at Kariega Game Reserve, South Africa before breakfast we went on our final game drive down to the lions... the lions had previously been a bit lethargic and not playing much but this morning none of that!! We were not there too long but they really gave us a show... the cubs were climbing up trees and playing with the juvenile male! A really good display, although I was at the back of the truck and this one was the only decent photo I got.

After we had, had breakfast we packed away and I found I had something missing... my Canon Ixus compact camera... this camera has travelled many places in Africa and the UK with me... on the Plymouth to Banjul trip, Ghana and extensively around the UK, pretty gutted.

We left the game reserve still without the camera but all contact details passed on.

We travelled onwards to Port Elizabeth only stopping for a walk along the beach near to Kenton on Sea.

In the afternoon we went to R's cousin P's house they have adopted a little boy D to complete their family to 5 children and they took the opportunity while they had the whole family together to have a dedication for D. It was a lovely occasion that was also attended by all their friends.

We headed back to the B&B late in the evening and sorting out our plans for the forthcoming week and our journey that will eventually end in Hout Bay, Cape Town.
