The Stake Out

Storm clouds gathered over head as the stake out began - terrified witnesses having provided tip offs as to number 2's hideout. A break in the clouds allowed for a slither of sun light to break through as a side wind rustled up broken tiwgs and felled leaves.

With front and back entrances covered he knew, once again, that the pendulum had swung his way. 'This time,' he muttered to himself.

"Who put's barbed wire around their garden fence?" Enquired the fresh faced academy recruit.

"Too many people these days," he replied, flicking his cigarette to the floor before lighting a new one, "too many people!"
