A small selection of wind turbines...

These wind turbines are just a small part of the finished section of the wind parc, this section being over the other side of the main road 2k away from us. The garage marks the road. There will be another 23 turbines this side of the main road when they've finished.

I had an interesting conversation this morning with a man who was parked just up our lane. He works for EDP, the company developing the wind parc, and his job is to look at the effects of the wind turbines on the environment including tree clearing, tidying up, and the effects on wildlife. I told him we hadn't seen as many eagles as previously over the last year, but maybe I should also have mentioned the rabbit warren and fox den that are now buried under the "improved" lane access road...
