Takeoff

Welcome to the WHMI FM radio balloon. This is a big balloon with an envelope that is some 120,000 cubic feet (3400 cubic meters) and can carry 5 people. Yesterday we had 2 couples both having birthday celebrations. They had an outstanding flight that took them a great distance. A tough balloon to wrangle on a hot and very humid day. After sharing a nice meal with some of our passengers, I went straight to bed when I got home...
