Please Don't Tune Me Out

This morning I went to a presentation on Building and Managing an Effective Board (for non-profit organizations) hosted by the Association of Fundraising Professionals. It was a very good presentation, and the buffet breakfast by Mount Bakery was excellent, as is all their food.

The event was held at the American Museum of Radio and Electricity, on Bay Street in downtown Bellingham -- the site of last night's street concert. They have a very comprehensive collection of artifacts dating back to the 1600's, and broadcast a low-power FM radio station signal, which you can also listen to on the internet.

I liked the old radio that is used as a lectern, and got a friend to pose with it for my blip.

There are lots more potential blip items at the museum, -- more than you'd want to see -- unless you're really, really excited about electricity!
