walking in the city

Baldwin Street

My friend and I were leaving John's Italian Cafe after seeing a storytelling exhibit at the AGO* when these two little darlings giggled right up to us. It was all "ohmigod" and "awesome" before they bounced away across the street. We didn't know where they'd been (at 5pm on a Friday, bless 'em) but we were sure what kind of treats they'd eaten. My friend biked off to weekly family dinner, and I walked to Union Station to buy a train ticket.

*which, it's challenging to stage storytelling as a gallery exhibit. We figured, anyway. There were some very neat video and mixed-media installations. One of the print-based pieces was a fictionalized account of all that Trellick Tower business, written and illustrated like a child's storybook.
