RW's Daily Exposures

Late Light Cosmo

These Cosmos have been featured in my blip journal before, but tonight this one just shined and I decided to give it up to the blip community.

We planted our Cosmos after our dear friend, Cosmo a little black and tan rescue Dachshund left our company and traveled to the immortal bonds of the universe after a 17 year life. We miss him, as it's been about a year now, but these Cosmos grow strong as tribute to the joy he brought to our lives.

It's getting close to the end of the summer as these flowers are mostly going to seed now, providing food for the Goldfinches that come around. They are mostly fading, but this one shined in the evening light and just begged to be a blip for today.

Please enjoy - and to all that have lost a canine friend, our heart felt condolences.

Peace!
