On the road again

The weekend ended too soon and as usual it was time to jump back in the car and head back up north. Considering the traffic, I made it back home in an impressive 4 hours, it would have been quicker but nothing seems to slow down a motorway like people gawking at others misfortune. It wouldn't have been so bad if it hadn't been so bloody hot outside.

Pictured here is Abington Services, and along with Tebay(Westmoreland), it's one of my regular stops. Unlike Westmoreland it lacks a farm shop and "home made" produce, but it does offer a large coffee and a lemon curd muffin for under £4, which going by standard service station pricing is an absolute bargain.
