Sweetpea Summer

The last day of my holidays before I return to the carnage. Actually I am lucky enough to really rather enjoy my job- I get to be a big kid and also feel like I am doing some good.

I also love sweetpeas. They sum up summer for me. This is them in their last flush I think, although they still have masses of flowers.

Gardening is what real men do. I am weary of mercenary adventure. I have too many scars. It is too easy to break something. Much harder to grow it.

(Although I am planning a small operation to take over a Banana Republic. Anyone free?).
