I climbed a 2300ft fell to take pictures of Blencathra across the valley. The light was wrong for any keepers but I happened across 20 or more of these folk taking to the skies in their paper thin canopies.
Most of the shots I took feature either the pilot in close up but without the canopy in shot, or the pilot and canopy both in shot but obviously not in such detail. This, I feel is the shot of the day as it captures the glorious canopy and strings, yet also includes the pilot and canopy in the distance to identify the sport and reveal the shot wasnt merely a mis-timed attempt to capture a parachute landing.
