Maize appears

The irrigation chanell runs for about a mile, from the dam, to this plot and the water is having the desired effect.
This maize will be ready about mid January and will provide an extra crop (as a result of irrigation) and hopefully get them through the hungry season.

They are happy with the flow of water from the dam when irrigating.
