Blue harbour

A strong and gusting wind blew from the northwest all day. A dark morning gradually gave way to a dull grey day. Cycling to work was a struggle against the wind. At least you know you are alive.

I took this shot in the morning, around 8.15am, looking north from Wellington's waterfront across the harbour. On the left of shot is a crane at the port; on the right is Point Jerningham. The sky and sea had a beautiful blue tint, which I enhanced a tad in post processing.
