Whacky Birds

The boys had a football Tournament this afternoon (and won) but what was most interesting was afterards several weird looking,but very beautiful,birds descended onto the pitch area. They had very long curved bills and I can only assume the vibrations from the children running around had caused the worms to come up to the surface and the birds found them rich pickings. Not a great photo but would be lovely to know what type of bird they are.
