Green Woodpecker

Just have time to post this and run as I'm off up to Stoke for a Health & Safety meeting, very interesting.

After stopping at the caravan to pick up some stuff, I came out to a Green Woodpecker, it flew off, normally they fly right off and you don't see them, but this time it flew to a nearby tree and posed.

I could not get any nearer as it would have spooked him, but managed to get it with the zoom lens at max, then cropped to suit, it's a little fuzzie but you can make him out OK.

Can't comment until tomoorow night so please bear with me.
