On the street where I work

Decided that a series of pictures of where I work might be worthwhile from a number of standpoints. Firstly - as a documentary record; secondly - as a backdrop to events that transpire over the next few weeks and thirdly as a way of saying "farewell".

I start with the building(s) that house the Computer Centre - probably the only Victorian Computing Centre in the world - when you work inside them you don't always appreciate the grandeur of the buildings, instead you bemoan the corridors and mazes, the relatively small sized rooms and the general idiosyncracy of the place. At other times you do appreciate the very uniqueness of the place and even if it doesn't lend itself to the most effective and efficient workplace, it does tend to create a togetherness amongst those that work there.
