Was It Really So Long Ago

Little Red Riding Hood

We arrived late morning, under leaden skies with the promise of light rain showers throughout the afternoon. Just before entering the park, the heavens opened in biblical fashion, which left us wondering whether to pay the £5 per car entry fee or turn round and do something else.

After ten minutes had passed and a cup of tea drunk, the skies began to clear and it just kept getting better until the blue skies were interrupted only by the odd fluffy white cloud.

The Park at Pembrey is vast, covering 500 acres behind the sand dunes. Attractions include Dry Ski Slope and Toboggan run, Pitch and Putt Golf Course (tick) Large Adventure Playground (tick) Visitor Centre And Restaurant (tick) Narrow Gauge Train (tick) and Cycle Hire.

Here is a collection that didn't make the grade today. I couldn't resist the shot of our younger daughter, rambling in the dunes, so here it is. I hope you like it
