To the Parliament at lunchtime for a discussion on the 'Politics of Comedy'. Pretty pisspoor really - it was chaired by Deputy Presiding Officer, Trish Godman MSP and it went absolutely nowhere. At least Simon Fanshawe managed to crack a few decent jokes, I suppose.
Later went to see 'Porgy and Bess' at the Festival Theatre. Damn good stage set - hadn't a clue that it was so long though. Move it along a bit there. Somebody get it down to 90 minutes and that Gershwin character would have a hit on his hands, I tell you.
