Water great day...

Today's the day United Utilities lifted the hose pipe ban that has been in place since the beginning of July due to the exceptionally low levels in the reservoirs. Ironically it has rained every single day since the ban came in except one. In true British spirit, I took advantage of the opportunity to remove the mess under the housemartin's nests all round the house that had piled up and also cleaned the car (I had fogotten what a shiny car I had-makes mental note not to leave it so long next time).
Oh, guess what...it's raining now so I shall have to continue the clean up tomorrow......
