Mallards

I took a break from canal visits today as I had a lot of work to catch up on, and didn't get out of Calne. These mallards on the River Marden in the town centre behind the Co-Op came to my rescue.

Today was the last of the Elvis DVDs in the paper, Fun In Acapulco, for which Elvis never actually got as far as Acapulco apparently, and is upstaged by the scenery and by Ursula Andress, whilst the musical highlight is his single Bossa Nova Baby, written by Jerry Leiber and Mike Stoller, and first recorded by Tippie and the Clovers the previous year.
