That's Magic

Last day of work before holidays today! Unofficially, the holiday started at 3pm when the ice cream van visited work, and I got an over-priced tub of ice cream. At £2.20 for two scoops and a flake, I'd have expected Haggen-Daz or Ben & Jerry's. Officially, the holiday started at 6.30 when I left the office.

I stopped at the Magic Wok on the way home for Chinese takeaway. The staff speak perfectly good English, so it was amusing to hear a woman order, "Two. Chicken. Curry. And. Fried. Rice. Please." She did tip her 10p change though.

I remember getting a fortune cookie once with the motto, "Help! I'm stuck in a Fortune Cookie factory". I hope that guy got out alright. :)
