Even dogs in Thailand need baths

Although the majority of the dogs I see are running the streets and eating out of garbage bins, some are loved and cared for. This dog lives in the comic book shop near my dorm. As he sits looking out the glass door most days, I imagine him wishing to run free with the other dogs...even more so today standing wet, lathered with soap. And yet the dog fights I hear almost nightly, usually escalating until yelps of the lesser fade off down the street, tell me that it might not be as fun as it looks to be a street dog.

The grass is always greener on the other side of the fence (or door), even for dogs.
