Paignton Zoo

As you can see, it decided to poor with rain today after we decided to go to the zoo and after Michael said the umbrella wasn't needed. Instead, he bought us these fashionable rain coats to wear. What happened? As soon as we put them on, it stopped raining of course! And keep in mind, he didn't buy himself one!!

Paignton Zoo is one of the finest zoos we've been to in a while. It's had a major refurb in the last 8 years (so I was told) and they do LOTS of conservation work linked with the local university and college.

Charlotte is animal mad, but especially giraffe mad (hence us adopting Sophie the Giraffe every year for her from Dudley Zoo). When we went inside, none were there, but all came in for Charlotte :-) And what happened when we went outside? Yup, they all followed.

It was a wonderful day (especially after the rain stopped).

At night, we relaxed in the chalet.
