Bubbles and Bridges and Foxes

A perfect summer Saturday. After finishing up some chores in the morning, we had a picnic lunch and then played in the backyard, blowing bubbles, building the bridge of Scotland* in the sandbox (remnants of said bridge on the cheek pictured above), and playing "What time is it, Mr. Fox?".

My daughter and husband set up the tent in the backyard later in the afternoon, and they're out there now having their first camp out. The nights are finally cooler and mosquito-free. Couldn't be a better night for sleeping out.

*She was referring to the Forth Road Bridge from Edinburgh to Fife, which had apparently made an impression on her.
