We nipped over to KfC's to pick up the Guinea Pigs after their fortnight change of scenery.
Above KfC's house is a little airfield on the hill and, after 5 years of not going to have a look, we all trooped up there.
They are a very friendly bunch and have a collection of fine old Taylorcraft/Piper aeroplanes between them. Bruce (43 years a flier) is the Pilot in Charge and took first me and then B for a quick trip in G-BRXE above the Forest of Dean, including a few low level high speed passes - as B is experiencing here. I'll admit to getting a bit worried. That tree was awfully close.
A wonderful bonus to an already excellent afternoon.
