Melbourne

Is it silly to have looked forward to seeing and being in a tram prior to moving to Melbourne?

I'd hoped to achieve this when in Melbourne as it was one of the things that Melbourne can boast that alot of other cities around the world can't, and too damn right. I can't imagine how much they ease congestion in the city. Some trams are free and it's just a case of hopping on and jumping off when you like.

The view is from the Eureka building in Melbourne, it is the tallest residential building in the world (according to Wikipedia) and the view from there is amazing. Very similar to that from the CN Tower in Toronto (which i was up July 2006).
