Introduction to the world

We've had a couple of bad days recently with the loss of some hedgehogs in our care. Sudden unexpected deaths caused because of some indiscriminate placing rat poison. Lost two, but hopefully saved a third.
This blip is to celebrate the circle of life. The picture is the first of Digit and Eyeleen (mother and baby) Three weeks ago Digit was a small bundle of spines looking to hide. Now s/he is a fireball of attitude that's left Gill with a hand full of spike marks.
We love it when hogs show anti-social behaviour, it gives us confidence they'll survive in the wild. I was worried the Magnificent 7 would have problems, but no worries, they have buckets of it.
