What a devil!

The festivities of Soller have now come to an end, culminating in an evening of devils, fire, smoke and very loud drums...Over the past few days the town has been packed with revelllers until the very early hours of the morning and it is now beginning to take it's toll! Living off the square has many advantages but during festival time, if you can't beat 'em, and you can't join 'em...it makes for very grumpy mornings. I caught the end of the main 'show', which was spectacular if devils and fire are your thing, but not for the faint hearted. The show continued till silly o'clock time with Soller's resident DJ! We are all feeling rather jaded and have had a slow day but roll on tomorrow for the Edinburgh Festival in rather cooler climes!!! I never thought I'd be so happy to be setting foot on home territory to relish in the possible cold/wet/snow/sleet of Scotland! My mobile phone camera which I am having to use at the moment does not do the show justice in any way...they were quite a scarey bunch!
