Boat

No more flying across the sunlit waves. This old boat is covered in dirt from the birds that roost in its store. And there is, oddly, the remains of a sheep skeleton in the bottom of the boat.

I walked the shore of Rendall from Millbrig, down the Burn of Sweenalay to where it meets the Burn of Cruan at the Oyce of Isbister, then to Black Taing, Point of Backaquoy, past the Skerries of Coubister and the house at Benziaroth and on to Finstown. It was sunny, with enough cloud to make the sky interesting. Autumn approaches and flocks of golden plover, lapwing and curlew were wheeling around the sky.

More shots here.
