Jenny, don't be hasty

Unusually, I had a reasonable choice of blips tonight and at the last minute happened on another.

This is an insect with many names, the official one being Crane Fly.

When I were a lad, we called them Jenny Long-legs, or Daddy long-legs. Kids are so descriptive aren't they?

This one is on it's last legs (sic.) and was staggering about the windowsill, just begging to be blipped. They're slow at the best of times, but this one was verging on comatose.

Having macro-ed him/her, I have to admit I hadn't realised just quite how shrimp-like they were in the head department. View it large for full impact.
