Newly hatched chicks

When the henhouse door was opened this morning there was a surprise as 4 fluffy wee chicks trooped out along with the other hens ... here are two of them (the others were hiding under their mummy at this point).

It was great to see these newly hatched chicks out with the rest of their flock and doing what hens do ... they all survived their first day and are now bedded down under their mum on the floor of the henhouse.
