walking in the city

Concrete Zen*

The family walking down from Price Choppers, loaded with baby carriages full of groceries, gave me strange looks. I was on tippy toe, reaching way up with my camera, shooting the wall.

* Lansdowne Avenue, on the west wall of the CN overpass. Or is that underpass? The Lakeshore branch of the CN Rail runs east/west through the city, parallel to Lake Ontario. Cutting right through downtown means interesting infrastructure and fun sights.
