Tuning In

How quickly do the days go past when you're having so much fun moving house.
The Edinburgh festival has only a week left and we have seen so little of the festivities.

I took the chance, when I escaped the unpacking and sorting bonanza at the Dower House to buy some food, to have a walk round by George Square and Teviot Row and mingle with the crowds eating, drinking and queuing.

It was hard to imagine that only 200 yds away there was an oasis of quietness albeit punctuated by bad language as is Lordship wrestled with the doors on yet another Billy bookcase.

The blip is of the second hand CD stall at the top of MIddle Meadow Walk.

We just managed to get the Dower House under control and then came back to another box loading at the castle. How much more china and crockery can we possibly cope with?

However there is a faint light at the end of the tunnel and I'm inching my way towards it.
