Lazy Hazy Days of Summer

A trip to Haskayne and the canal today looking for blackberries which were being elusive so we sat for a while and watched the world go by.

It was lovely and quiet and the swallows were everywhere. Ducking and diving chasing insects on the breeze.

The childrens last summer weekend before going back to school and the last weekend of my holiday too.

We talked to passers by and to a couple who had a barge moored there.

Lovely afternoon enjoying the warmth of the sun and each others company.
