Exhausted

My daughter has been on her Brownie Pack's holiday since Friday.

We picked my daughter and her friend up at lunchtime, and they chattered happily about their weekend. Chuckling about the little girl (age 7), who in the gift shop, had picked up antiseptic wipes as a gift for her Mum, but finally decided to buy a (fire?) alarm instead!

The moment we dropped her friend home, my daughter visibly drooped, completely exhausted after the weekend's excitement. She could hardly keep her eyes open, and asked to go to bed there and then (most out of character!).

She's had a fantastic time, and I am so grateful to the leaders who organised the holiday. I wonder if they had to hit their beds early tonight?
