I can do it!

Needing to get out of the house this morning we headed off to the local Maize Maze. It has been so wet the last few years we have avoided it as it is rather a mud bath but today was sunny and the path dry.

After tacking the (shorter!) maze we headed through the farm buildings on our way back to the car. However there was the soft indoor play area - places I tend to avoid for many, many reasons.

My little one was pretty keen to stop. She is the most gentle thing when it comes to trying new physical tasks - takes her time and goes slowly until she is sure - real sure! Then she is off and does keep on going.

So here she is at the top of the soft slide getting ready to go down. Something most one year olds would do fast and with ease but in her own distinctive, slow and steady style, taking time to prepare herself for the task ahead.

It is great that we are all different!
