Bishop's last steps

The bishop of Helsinki, Eero Huovinen, is stepping (a bit popishly) into the Helsinki Cathedral to celebrate his last mass as a bishop, for he will be retired at midnight.

In a mass he undressed his bishoply vestments, left them at the altar and walked out from a church as a civilian.

His successor, Irja Askola, is the first female bishop in the Lutheran Church of Finland.
