I walked to the top of Arthurs Seat today in search of my wee lads Body-warmer, lost by the rest of the family on a trip yesterday.

I got to the trig point on top convinced that it must have gone, only to find it right next too it: slightly the worst for wear.

The mist and fog of this morning had lifted, (compared to this) but mot disappeared completely, so the views everywhere were semi opaque and this wonderful shade of blue.

It still floors me to think that I can walk out of my office at lunchtime and in 30 mins be looking down on a view like this. What a city Edinburgh is!
