Berry nice

Garden tidy up today, and the ritual of clearing of the rowan tree berries from the front grass before cutting the grass.

The rowan tree in my garden is only about twelve-feet high but it's chock-full of bright red berries. The birds love them. It's regularly got a dozen or more starlings and thrushes in there, chugging the berries down like sweeties.

I saw one of the cats in the street sitting a the bottom of the tree yesterday looking longingly up at the birds. He must be a bit thick since birds are not renowned for falling out of trees.

The birds drop as many as they eat, hence the bucket-full here, so it was even funnier to see him getting hit on the head with berries and continuing to watch the birds.

Incredible? For this week's Weekend Blip Challenge?

Well, there were an incredible amount of them.
The berries are incREDibly red.
The berries are INcrEDIBLE (unless you cook them into a jam apparently).
