Not Shiny Anymore

I went out to shoot some flowers, but this bit of rusty metal amidst a recycling project caught my eye instead. Just as well, the flowers were past their prime anyway, and with fickle autumn gusts they wouldn't sit still either. This hinge sat quite still, as it seems accustomed to doing now.
