Shaken but not stirred? Well definitely shaken.

Lying half awake in bed very early this morning I was quickly forced wide awake with the onset of a 7.1 magnitude earthquake. The most terrifying thing I have every been through. Rolled of my bed and lay on the floor praying for it to stop. After what seemed like forever (they reckon only around a minute and a half) it stopped.

Unable to sleep I sat online recieving updates. The damage done to my town compared to a neighbouring town less than 10min away is remarkably different. We are very blessed to have so little damage, given the size.

A day i'll never forget.
