running towards nothing

Final fling

Both the private gardens and the public spaces in Port Sunlight are having a late flush of summer blooms following last week's warm weather. I hope the flowers can cling on for another couple of weeks for the Founder's Day event on 19th, but today there is a strong breeze and these fuschias are really dancing about.

Domestic day today, I'll be doing a big shop later to stock up as the next three weekends will be very busy. Time to make the first autumn casserole I think, lamb neck fillet with flageolet beans and mint.
