Another nice day

No swimming lessons today as it is our local holiday weekend. We headed out at lunch time on the bikes again and did the tinkers loan run again, again.

Measured the distance today on my cyclemetre and worked out that the run round the tinkers loan to the park and then back home again is 10km. The first bit of it is pretty hard going for the kids...and us:-), up quite steep hills and on an uneven surface. They would get on a bit better though if they put more effort into cycling rather than moaning. Have told them that we are going to do this cycle every week until we can get over the first bit without any complaints...I'm a hard task master I know. Once you get over the first part it is mainly down hill from there to the park...they like that bit. I keep telling them that to be able to go downhill you need to climb first.

We had taken a picnic with us today and spent the rest of the afternoon in the park. Headed home about four o'clock for an early dinner as there was an exibition game on at the peak featuring the new Stirling Knights basketball team. It was a good evening but a late one...the game was quite exciting and we beat the visiting team from Aberdeen.

Back blipping this and paying for the late night today...very grumpy children.
