old fashioned ornament

this reminds me of the old german christmas ornaments my grandmother used to put on our tree when i was growing up. they had the pretty little gold tops on them and were so very delicate.

on the other hand, it also makes me think of ice cream cones.....soft serve... all dripping down your arm because you can't lick it fast enough.

either way.... this one flower has given me innovation a plenty and i am enjoying my simple moments with it. can't beat that...
